Campaign, ad campaign
Mass addressing of users with banners linked to server websites. According to a marketing target, an ad campaign may be targeted by user profile - visitors of given server. A campaign is characterised by a requested number of impressions, a period (campaign time interval) and target (campaign goal - particular websites or user profiles).
Impressions, ad views
Requested visual display of an ad via the BB AdServer in one ad position. There can be more ad positions on one particular website and this way - more impressions on one WWW page.
Click
A click on a banner ad.
Unique clicks
A click on the banner ad from one particular unique user – one click per user.
Unique IP address
Number of IP addresses (computers) which visited the given page.
Unique User (UU)
Explicit indentification of the browsing user.
Factual click, factual visit
How many time was the target page visited, but counting only those visits, which were realized by targeted user.
URL address, final page
An URL adress is a link label to final page, which will open after zavolání? given URL address. The URL adress is commonly visible at the command line of the browser.
Cost per thousand (CPT)
States a price for one thousand impressions of the banner ad. This price is being stated in the server advertising price list.
Click Through Rate (CTR)
Efficiency of a Banner Ad Expressed in %.
Efficiency of the campaign
A ratio of a number of clicks / number of impressions per banner ad. The click directs exactly to the advertiser´s websites.
Page View
This significance is simmilar to impressions, but it´s not related to the number of impressions of an ad banner, but to the number of views of individual processed page in user browser.
Actions
Random action or event, which needs to be measured. The BBAd Server differs between an internal and an external action. The internal action counts events in terms of creative advertising banners (e.g. number of unrolled i-layer, number of mouse cursor movements etc.). The external action counts events in terms of website (eg. Factual visits, number of orders, number of downloaded manuals etc.)
